Finally found a way into the sealed upper level of the old Sunrise Galleria after three failed attempts

I realized the 'out of order' service elevator shaft was actually clear and climbed the maintenance ladder inside, which gave me a perfect view of the 90s food court murals that are never seen from the ground floor.

Climbing an elevator shaft is the real urban exploration. Those murals were made to be seen from up close, not just from some sticky food court table. It's a whole different piece of art from that angle. Finding a clean path everyone else wrote off is the best part.
