A local historian told me I was wrong about why our mall closed and now I see it completely differently
He showed me the city council records from 1998 proving the anchor store left because of a tax dispute, not the new big box store 3 miles away, and now I actually check public records before I post any theories online - has anyone else found official documents that changed their story?

Learned that lesson the hard way when I swore my high school was haunted turns out it was just bad plumbing.
