The thrift store CRT that made me finally see the light on refresh rates

Picked up a 2004 Sony Trinitron for $12 at a Goodwill in Akron last Saturday, mostly as a joke for my retro corner. Got it home, hooked up my old Dreamcast, and played Soul Calibur for about 20 minutes before I realized I'd been gaming on a 60Hz LCD for a decade without thinking twice. The difference with light guns and scrolling was so obvious that I'm now hunting for a second CRT for my desk. Has anyone else gone back to an old display and had that 'oh no, now I can't unsee it' moment?
