My clunky 1998 Dell laptop boots faster than my 2024 phone now

I dug out my old Latitude from a closet last weekend, and after 4 minutes of whirring it opened WordPerfect like nothing, while my current phone takes longer to load Chrome, has anyone else noticed old tech actually feels snappier because it wasn't drowning in apps?
