My old password manager just gave up on me after 8 years
It happened last Tuesday night, the whole app froze and wouldn't sync my vault anymore. I was using this free tool I found back in 2016, and it just couldn't handle the new update on my phone. Had to do a full export and move everything to a new service, which took about three hours to get all 200+ logins sorted. Makes you think about how much we rely on these old tools that stop getting support. What's a good, simple password manager you all trust for the long haul?

Try Bitwarden, it's open source and works everywhere. I switched after LastPass had problems and never looked back. The free plan does everything you need, and the paid version is cheap if you want extra features. It just feels solid and reliable, which is what you want for your passwords.

Wait you had 200+ logins in there? That's wild. I'd lose my mind trying to move all that.

That "solid and reliable" feeling is key because we're all just one software update away from our tools breaking. It happens with everything from password managers to smart home gadgets. Makes you want to stick with things that have a big, active team behind them.
