Warning: My first QMK keymap took way longer than I expected

Spent 3 hours trying to get a simple tap-dance layer to switch to my numpad layout and it just kept glitching out - every fourth tap would lock the board. Turns out I forgot to define the tapping term in the config file, which cost me a whole evening of reflashing. Anyone else waste a night on a one-line fix like that?

Three months ago I would've said just read the docs, but then I spent four hours debugging a stuck mod-tap because I skimmed past one sentence about TAPPING_TERM being in milliseconds not seconds.
