Warning: don't skimp on stabilizer lube
Just spent 4 hours trying to fix a rattly spacebar on my new build because I thought the included factory lube would be enough. Had to completely disassemble the board twice to re-lube the stabilizer wires properly. Anyone have a go-to lube brand they swear by for this?

Remember that time I tried to use dielectric grease on a stabilizer wire because I was out of the good stuff? It was a sticky mess that made the key feel like it was stuck in mud, and I had to clean the whole thing with isopropyl alcohol. I learned the hard way that the grease type really does matter for how the key feels. Now I just wait until I have the right lube, even if it means leaving a build unfinished for a few days.
