Lubed my stabilizers with a $4 tube of dielectric grease and the rattle vanished

Been fighting a nasty spacebar rattle on my Tofu65 for 3 weeks and tried foam, tape, and even swapping wires. Saw a post about using dielectric grease from the auto parts store instead of the fancy stuff, figured why not for $4. Has anyone else gone cheap on stabs or am I setting myself up for a mess down the road?
