DAE think people obsess over switches when their stabs are the real problem?
I spent two weekends and about $80 trying different switch lubes on my Tofu65 build, convinced the scratchy feel was all in the switches, and then last Tuesday I finally pulled the spacebar and found the stock stabilizers rattling loose with almost no lube on them. Rebuilt those with a $6 tube of dielectric grease and the board sounds like a completely different keyboard, which makes me feel dumb for chasing switches for so long. How many of you check your stabs before you even start swapping switches?
