Bought a $50 set of switch films and honestly I feel scammed

Spent 50 bucks on these little plastic films that you slip on the top housing of your switches because some dude in a Discord swore they killed all his wobble. Spent 4 hours opening 90 switches, filming them, closing them back up, and I honestly cannot tell the difference between filmed and unfilmed in a blind test with my eyes closed. Did I just waste 50 bucks and a whole Saturday, or am I missing something about how these actually help?
