A 5 minute call with a subscriber completely shifted how I do thumbnails

I was hopping on a quick Discord chat with a viewer who'd been around since my 200 subscriber days, and she said my old clickbait-y titles felt more 'honest' than my current polished ones. That hit weird because I thought the upgrades were working, but she made me realize I'd traded personality for professionalism. Has anyone else had a fan or regular tell you something that made you rework your whole approach?

The internet keeps pushing us toward cleaner, more polished versions of ourselves, but people actually crave the messy, real stuff. It's like how every food brand that goes "premium" ends up losing the loyal customers who loved the original recipe.
