Hit 50,000 words on my novel draft and froze mid-sentence

I was writing a scene set in Portland last Tuesday and when my word counter ticked over to 50,000, my brain just stopped because that number felt like a real milestone for a story I almost deleted 6 months ago, has anyone else hit a similar count and lost their flow for a minute?
