Finally figured out the right way to get past a blank page

I used to just stare at the screen for an hour, waiting for a perfect idea (which never came). Last week, I set a timer for 15 minutes and forced myself to write three terrible, silly sentences about a character in a grocery store. The sheer awfulness of those sentences broke the block and let me actually start. What's your go-to trick for getting the first words down?

What's the worst sentence you can write? I just start with that... it's so bad it loops back around to working.
