Spreader bar with chains vs nylon slings on a 4 point pick, no contest after Tuesday
Had to set a 12 foot precast panel in Ashland and tried chains off the spreader first, the load barely moved before it settled flat. Swapped to nylon slings at a wider angle and it came up level on the first try, plus no paint damage on the edges. Anyone else running chains for the bite and slings for the lift, or do you just pick one and deal with it?
