Had a seagull drop a fish right into my cab's open window yesterday...

It was a 12-inch mackerel, and it landed square on the load chart. My signalman just pointed and yelled 'Bonus catch!' over the radio. Anyone else have a bird try to 'help' with the job?

Those birds aren't looking for a view, they're looking for a free ride! @shah.shane, your pigeon just wants the crane to do all the work.

Got a pigeon that keeps trying to land on my crane's counterweight. I mean, it just perches there like it's supervising the whole lift. Makes me wonder if they're all just looking for a better view.

Oh man, that reminds me of my buddy who works on cell towers. He had a hawk that would land on the very top platform every single morning, like clockwork. Just sat there staring down at the whole town, totally still, for like an hour. It felt like the bird was running a security check or something. Your crane pigeon, @shah.shane, sounds like the same kind of bossy bird energy. Maybe they just want to feel important up high.
