Blew $250 on a fancy anti-two block device that didn't work on my Liebherr LTM 1050

Honestly, I bought this pricey wireless anti-two block sensor from a company called LoadTech last month thinking it'd save me headaches on a big steel beam lift in Houston. Ngl, the thing just kept giving false alarms every time I got near a power line, and I spent half a shift troubleshooting it before giving up. Total waste of cash and time - has anyone else had luck with the cheaper wired models instead?

Did you try returning it for a refund? I used to think wireless was always better for avoiding cable snags, but after seeing how much interference messes with these sensors, I'm leaning towards the old wired stuff for anything near power lines.

Yeah exactly @mary614, I think that's the key difference. Like wireless is great until you realize how much interference comes from power lines or even big appliances running nearby. Wired stuff might be a pain to set up at first but once it's in place you basically never have to worry about it again.
