Update: I was replanting my greenhouse crops wrong for 2 in-game seasons in Stardew and the tip came from a trash can
So I finally hit Fall of Year 2 on my farm and my greenhouse was only pulling about 12k gold a season, which felt way off for 8 ancient fruit plots. I was standing next to the shipping bin when I opened the trash can by the museum and it gave me a random hint about crop spacing and sprinkler range. I pulled up a grid overlay and found out 4 of my sprinklers were covering tiles that had nothing on them while 6 plants sat bone dry. Moved two sprinklers and replanted the bare spots, and the next harvest jumped to 31k. Has anyone else had a cozy game quietly teach them a basic math lesson like that?
