The wiki said Stardew's Junimos are "forest spirits" and I never questioned it until now
I was reading the official Stardew Valley wiki for fun last Tuesday and found out the Junimos actually have a hidden countdown timer on their forest magic if you dig into the game files. Apparently they fade out completely after year 3 unless you finish the community center, which I totally missed in 200 hours of play. Has anyone else found weird hidden mechanics like that in a cozy game that broke the chill vibe for a second?

Oh man, that timer thing would've freaked me out too. What worked for me was just turning the wiki off for a while and playing blind again, the hidden stuff stopped bugging me once I stopped looking for it. The game's way more fun when you let the mystery stay a mystery.
