Hot take: turning OFF the mini map in Stardew Valley made the game way more relaxing for me
I always felt this low key stress while playing because I was constantly checking the map to make sure I was being "efficient" with my days. Last week I hit fall of year 2 on my farm and just turned the HUD off completely, and now I'm actually noticing stuff like the little path behind Robin's house that I never saw before. It's weird but getting lost in the woods near Marnie's place for 10 minutes did more for my mood than any perfect crop layout ever did. Has anyone else done this or am I just late to the party?
