PSA: Your second screen setup is not couch co-op, and I learned that the hard way at my own game night
For two months I ran our Friday nights with a laptop on the coffee table and a TV in the corner, thinking two screens meant two players and everybody was happy. Then a buddy asked why nobody ever looked at each other during matches, and I counted nine straight nights where all four of us stared forward the whole time. Turns out we were just playing online in the same room, and the laughing and trash talk dropped off a cliff compared to split screen. I got rid of the laptop and we went back to one TV, four controllers, and the same tiny map, and that night was louder than the previous month combined. Has anyone else's crew gotten quieter after switching to individual screens, or is that just my group?
