My clipper died mid fade on a walk-in at 4:30 on a Saturday

The motor just quit with half the back of his head done, so I finished the rest with shears and a razor and it actually looked cleaner than my usual work. Anyone keep a backup clipper in the drawer for this kind of thing, or am I the only one who got caught out?
