I had to say no to a dangerous color correction

A client asked me to bleach her black hair to platinum in one go, but it was already weak from old dye. I explained the high risk of breakage and suggested a safer plan. She got mad and said she would find someone else to do it. I stood firm, but it's hard when clients ignore advice for quick results.

But I see it another way. Quick fixes can help in a pinch, and holding firm doesn't always work.

Good call sticking to your guns. That hair would have snapped right off. Some clients just can't hear the word "no," even when it's to save their hair. You did the right thing protecting your work and their hair health.
