Question about tracking rebar deliveries with a $12 whiteboard in Reno

I kept losing track of which rebar bundles showed up on site at my Reno job last month, so I grabbed a cheap whiteboard and made a grid for each delivery day. Writing the truck number and bundle count by hand cut my missing material calls from 5 a week down to almost zero. Has anyone else gone back to paper after their tracking app kept glitching in the field?
