Showerthought: the pigeons at my local Walmart all hang out by one specific cart return and I have questions
Stood in the parking lot of the Walmart on Highway 9 in my town for like 15 minutes last Tuesday waiting on my wife, and I swear every pigeon in a two block area was posted up around the same cart return. Not the dumpster, not the garden center, just that one corral. My best theory is somebody feeds them there on a schedule, but the other theory is there is something in those carts they want, and now I can't unsee it. Anybody else notice animals picking one weird spot like they're in on something? Or am I just bored enough to turn bird behavior into a conspiracy?
