Wet cure vs spray-on cure, wet wins every time

I spent 5 years using spray-on cure on my driveway jobs until I tried wet burlap on a 90-degree day in Phoenix. The slab came out with zero cracks and a way harder surface. Has anyone else switched back to old school methods and seen better results?

Wet wins every time" unless you enjoy paying the water bill, I guess.

Take a look at the actual structural integrity difference. Ive tested both on the same mix design and the wet cure stuff had way less surface dusting and spalling after a year. Spray on just doesnt penetrate deep enough in my experience, especially when the suns baking the slab. Its not just about keeping it moist, its about keeping the temp steady too. The wet blanket method traps the heat and lets the concrete hydrate slower, which makes it denser. Plus, you can reuse those burlap rolls a dozen times if you wash them right, so the water bill argument kinda falls flat if you think about the long haul.
