Hit 5000 successful screen repairs last Thursday and it felt weird

I was just doing my normal tally after finishing an iPhone 14 Pro screen swap and I realized this one was number 5000. That's five thousand cracked screens I have replaced since I started back in 2017. It made me think about how many people dropped their phones getting out of cars or just having a bad day. Has anyone here ever actually counted their total repairs or does that sound crazy?

Nah I actually think tracking repair numbers is kind of pointless lol. The quality of each fix matters way more than how many youve done, and counting just feeds your ego without telling you anything about your actual skill level. Like you could hit 5000 repairs but still be messing up adhesive seals or using cheap parts if youre not paying attention.

Figure out what percentage of those were iPhone screens versus everything else. 5000 is a lot, but I bet the split tells a story about what people actually break and what they just live with. Did you track that from the start or is it just a number in your head?
