Spent 6 hours chasing a leak on a 24 inch intake riser that turned out to be a hairline crack in a 50 cent o-ring
Dove the same riser 3 times at the Port of Tampa before I finally pressure tested it on deck and found it, has anyone else burned a whole shift on a part that cheap?

Man that o-ring life is real. I once spent a whole Tuesday chasing a drip on a fuel transfer pump, pulled the whole thing apart twice, new gaskets everywhere, and it was a tiny nick on the mating face I could barely see without a light. Felt like such a clown when I finally spotted it. The cheap stuff always hides the best, swear it knows you bought a spare.
