I think relying on the old Kirby Morgan band mask is holding new divers back

Last month at a job off Galveston, I watched three guys fight with their old SuperLite 17s while I ran my EXO in half the time. Everyone swears by the KM stuff, but have you actually timed how long it takes to rebuild one of those things compared to a modern full-face?

That hits close to home honestly. Got my dad's old truck, a 1998 F150, and I can tear that thing apart and put it back together with my eyes closed. Every wiring harness, every vacuum line, it's just muscle memory now. Newer trucks with all their sensors and computers? No thanks. There's something to be said for having a machine you actually understand, where a problem doesn't mean a trip to the dealership with a grand in your pocket.
