My comic book board shipment got completely soaked in the rain yesterday
I was waiting for a package of 100 new backing boards to arrive for my collection. The delivery person left it on my front step right before a huge downpour started. When I got home, the whole box was soggy and the boards inside were warped and stuck together. I had to carefully peel them apart and lay them out to dry, but most are ruined. What's the best way you've found to protect your shipments from bad weather?

Ever try a plastic storage bin by the door? I leave a big one with a lid out there. Put a note on it for deliveries. Works most of the time, unless the driver just doesn't care. My neighbor uses a deck box for the same thing.

Ngl it feels like delivery services have completely given up on the idea of covered porches. My stuff gets left right in the open all the time now, rain or shine. It's like they assume everyone has a perfect little delivery nook, which most of us don't. I've started using delivery instructions to tell them to put it behind the planter, but half the time they ignore it. Really makes you miss when they'd at least try to tuck it somewhere dry.
