Update: the guy at the roaster on 5th told me dark roast is 'just burnt flavor' and I bit my tongue
He said it while pouring me a light roast that tasted like lemon water and cost $22 a bag. Give me a good dark Sumatran any day, so what do you actually brew when someone tells you your taste is wrong?
