Unpopular opinion: typing out code by hand from a book beat every video course I tried
I kept bouncing off free coding videos for 3 weeks straight and couldn't write a single loop on my own. Then I grabbed an old Python book from a library sale in Dayton and just typed every example into a blank file, no copy paste. By day 4 something clicked and I wrote a little tip calculator by myself. Did handwriting drills actually help anyone else, or am I just wasting time?
