I thought learning Python meant memorizing every single library function

My friend in Chicago said to just google the syntax when I need it, and after six months of coding, I finally get it. I wasted so much time trying to learn everything at once instead of just building a simple project. How did you guys get over that 'need to know everything' feeling when you started?

Yeah, that's the trap. I spent weeks trying to learn all the theory before I even made a single thing that worked. Your friend's right, you just start building and look stuff up as you go.

Question why you need to get over that feeling at all. A little pressure to learn keeps you sharp, doesn't it? Letting it go completely might just make you sloppy.

Turns out the best cheat sheet is just the internet.
