Appreciation post: I used to get stuck on loops for hours until I started drawing them out on paper first

Oh yeah, totally agree with @palmer.avery. I mean, once you see it on paper, you can't ignore the mistake like you can in your head. It just makes the whole problem way more real and easier to fix.

That's a solid strategy! I read somewhere that the physical act of writing or drawing uses a different part of the brain than just thinking. It forces you to slow down and map out each step, so the loops become clear on the page instead of just swirling in your head. Makes total sense that it would help.
