Warning: that 'premium' tool holder cost me a whole shift
Bought a fancy new tool holder online that promised better runout and longer tool life. It arrived, looked great, but the collet nut threads were off by just enough to not seat right. Spent 8 hours chasing chatter and bad finishes before I found it. Lost a full day's production on a rush job. Anyone know a good brand that actually checks their threads?

Did you try contacting the seller about the bad threads?

Oh man, my buddy ordered a jacket last month with the same problem. He messaged the seller and they just never wrote back. Some of these shops have awful customer service.

Honestly @blaked79, maybe they're just drop-shippers who never even see the actual product.
