PSA: My neighbor's question about my CNC work made my shop better.

He saw the coolant spray and asked what it was for. I told him it cools the cutting tool. He said to try angling the nozzle differently. I did, and now parts come out smoother with less splash.

Man, is your neighbor secretly an engineer or something? I would have just nodded and kept blasting coolant everywhere. Makes me wonder how many simple fixes I've missed because I was too stubborn to ask anyone. Guess I'll be eyeballing my own setup tomorrow, feeling like a real genius.

My AC was grinding for MONTHS and I just assumed it was dying. Almost called a repair guy which would have cost a fortune. My buddy came over, popped the cover off, and found a leaf stuck in the fan. Pulled it out and the noise stopped INSTANTLY. Now I always check the simple stuff first before panicking. Saved myself hundreds for five minutes of work.
