TIL the sky over my street went from solid gray to a full cotton ball field in 20 minutes
I took a pic at 4:10 of a flat gray lid over Denver, then looked up again at 4:30 and the whole thing had broken into puffy cumulus like someone popped bubble wrap. I think the sun just warmed the ground and the clouds cooked off, but I am not a weather guy. Has anyone else caught a sky swap that fast on camera?
My buddy caught something like that last spring, flat white one minute then popcorn clouds all over by the time he grabbed his dog from the yard. Ground heat cooking them off makes sense, wild how quick it flips.
