Okay, so I was trying to get a picture of these awesome mammatus clouds over my house yesterday

I grabbed my phone first, but the shots were just gray blobs. Then I ran inside for my old digital camera with the zoom lens, and the difference was crazy. The camera caught all the weird, pouch-like textures perfectly. Anyone have a good, cheap camera they use just for cloud pics?

Seems like a lot of effort for a picture of the sky. I just look up, enjoy the weird shapes for a minute, and go back inside.
