Bought a $22 pair of polarized sunglasses just to spot clouds better and my wife will not let it go
I kept squinting at the sky every afternoon so I grabbed a cheap pair at a gas station outside Tucson and now I can actually see the edges of cumulus clouds instead of a white blur. My wife says I look ridiculous wearing them at 7pm on the back porch, but I spotted a lenticular stack over the Catalinas that I would have totally missed before. Best $22 I have dropped in a while, way better than the $60 pair I lost in a lake two summers back. Does anyone else use a specific lens color for cloud watching, or am I just making up a hobby rule?
