I finally called out my neighbor for watering his lawn every single day in July

So this guy across the street runs his sprinklers at 6am rain or shine. I told him he was wasting water and money last summer. He said the grass would die without it. Fast forward to this year and his lawn looks like a swampy mess with moss growing in spots while mine is fine with twice a week. Who was actually right here? Anyone else deal with neighbors who overwater?

My neighbor three doors down does the exact same thing, runs his sprinklers every morning even when it's pouring rain. I finally told him last month his grass is basically a bog now and he just shrugged. You were absolutely right, overwatering just turns everything into a mossy mud pit.
