The Rocky River seawall took my ladder, lesson learned the hard way
Last Saturday I was doing a quick outlet check on a house right along the lake in Bay Village and a gust flipped my folding ladder straight into the rocks below. Took me 40 minutes to fish it out with a rope and I'm still picking sand out of my tools, has anyone else had gear get wrecked by that lake wind?

ugh that sucks so bad. i had a tarp and a bunch of bungee cords get ripped right off my truck bed one time near the marina, it was just gone into the water before i could even react. that lake wind is no joke, it comes in these weird gusts that just grab stuff sideways. glad you got the ladder back at least, 40 minutes of rope fishing sounds like a brutal way to spend a Saturday. hope the outlet check was worth it, ha.
