The lawn guy I hired kept mowing over my garden bed for 2 summers before I figured out my property line was 6 feet further back

I watched him clip my hostas every Thursday for two years and only realized my actual survey markers were hiding under the overgrown hedge when the county rep came out for a fence dispute, so has anyone else had to deal with a painter or landscaper who just assumes the whole green strip is yours?
