Had to choose between Lakewood and Rocky River for our new place last month and went with Lakewood after walking the neighborhoods at night

Picked Lakewood because the houses felt more walkable to actual stuff like coffee shops and bars instead of just strip malls, but now I'm wondering if Rocky River would've been quieter - anyone else make a similar call and regret it or feel good about it?

Huh, are we really losing sleep over this? Lakewood's not exactly a war zone at night, it's just got people out walking dogs and grabbing a beer. Rocky River's quieter sure, but you trade that for having to drive ten minutes to get a decent cup of coffee. You made a call based on what you liked walking around, so stick with it until you actually have a reason to regret it like noise complaints or parking nightmares. What's bugging you more, the actual noise or just the idea that you picked wrong?
