Old timer said wire brushes are dead, I think he's got a point after that roto-vs-hand test
Ran a side-by-side on two chimneys in St. Louis last Tuesday, one with my 20 year old steel brush, one with a chain knocker, and the old guy who taught me swore the knocker leaves less soot film, so which way do you guys lean when the creosote is baked on thick?
