A wasp nest in the flue on my 3rd job in Sandusky made me change my whole walkthrough
I was up on a roof in Sandusky last month and pulled the brush out of a flue to find a paper wasp nest the size of a dinner plate, and the homeowner had no clue it was even there. Nobody got stung thank goodness but I was dancing around up there like an idiot for a solid minute. Now I pull the cage and shine a light down the flue before I even hook up the rods. Anybody else got a pre-job check they never skip after something like this?
