TIL the dollar menu at my local Wendy's in Toledo is actually cheaper than buying the same stuff at the grocery store
I was sitting in the parking lot last Tuesday adding up my grocery list on my phone because I'm broke this week. A 4 for $4 there gets me a burger, nuggets, fries, and a drink, and when I priced the same meal at Kroger it came to almost $9. I went back three times this week just to make sure I wasn't doing the math wrong, and every single time it checked out. Feels backwards that fast food is the budget move now, but here we are. Has anyone else noticed their local spot beating grocery prices, or is it just a Toledo thing?
