I finally think the 5 buck footlong at Subway is overrated

Everyone raves about it but for 5 dollars I can get two frozen burritos at Aldi that heat up faster and actually fill me up for the whole day. Has anyone else noticed the bread quality going downhill lately?

Went back to Subway last week and the bread tasted like cardboard honestly. Switched to making my own wraps at home with Aldi ingredients and it's been way better for half the price.

Tried that Subway bread last month and it was like chewing on a sponge someone left out overnight. Aldi frozen burritos are solid but have you ever microwaved a leftover meatball sub from Jersey Mike's? That's the real move when you're on your second 12 hour shift and just need something that doesn't taste like disappointment.
