Tried a $10 picnic at the lake and my gf said my cheese plate looked like a toddler made it
So last Saturday I packed this whole cheap picnic for us at Lake Murray, spent about $10 on crackers, grapes, and a block of cheddar I cut up myself. She took one look at my pile of random cheese chunks and said it looked like a toddler made it, which honestly stung a little but she was right. Next weekend I got a $3 dollar store cutting board and actually looked up how to fan the cheese out in little rows with the grapes between them. Same food, same park bench, but she posted a pic of it and her sister asked where we went for brunch. Turns out free date stuff just needs like 5 extra minutes of arranging, anyone else learn this the hard way?
