Took my girlfriend to the $3 Tuesday art walk in Kansas City and it beat every $80 dinner we've done
Three weeks ago we hit the Crossroads district galleries, all free, and she still talks about the tiny ceramics studio we wandered into. Anyone else got a spot like this in their city, or am I just lucky here?

Read that Kansas City Star piece about the Crossroads art walk a while back, the whole district got listed as one of the best free things to do in the Midwest. Third Fridays in Phoenix are supposed to be a good one too if you're ever out that way.
