My cat knocked a full mug of coffee onto my favorite cat photo book and now the pages are fused together
Last Tuesday I left my copy of "Cats in Hats" sitting on the coffee table while I ran to answer the door, and my orange tabby Kevin treated the mug next to it like a hockey puck. By the time I got back, the whole bottom third of the book was soaked and now about 40 pages are glued into one solid brick. I tried the rice trick and even put it in front of a fan for two days, but the pages are still stuck and peeling them apart just tears the paper. I know most of you would say let it dry and deal with it, but honestly I think the crinkled pages give it character. Has anyone actually saved a book that got soaked like this, or am I just supposed to buy another copy?
