My vet told me to ignore my cat's 3am zoomies and it actually worked

She said responding just teaches them that waking you up gets attention. After a week of pretending to be asleep, he stopped sprinting across my bed. Has anyone else tried this with a night-time maniac?

Lmao my cat would just start knocking stuff off the nightstand when I tried that. The silent treatment lasted two nights before I caved. Your cat must be way more polite than my little furry terrorist.

Have you tried putting away anything they could knock over? I had to clear my nightstand completely for a week, and my cat got bored of the protest. It felt silly living in a bare room, but it actually worked!
